In 2003, Ms. DeAnn opened her 24-hour homed based childcare business in Palmdale, CA. From the beginning the kids fell in love with her home and excelled in education. Due to family needed her help she relocated her home based childcare to Gardena, Ca, where her attendance continue to flourish.

Needing a larger facility, P.O.E. Family Childcare was moved to Los Angeles, Ca where they were able to serve L.A., Gardena, Hawthorne and Inglewood families. As Ms. DeAnn’s vision grew she met and formed lasting friendships and business visions with a few co-workers and partners, helping P.O.E. become a vision of not just Ms. Poe’s, but also visions of others just as excited and motivated to birth a foundation to serve generations to come. 

We are a Family owned and operated facility, giving our children the confidence to try new things and make new friends. In today’s harsh world, we seek to create a haven for children. While academics are a central focal point of our program, we also know that we are molding citizens of the world.  

Our Goal is to instill in our students a sense of caring and generosity for others, positive self-esteem, appreciation for our planet, and a never-ending thirst for learning. When children are given the opportunity to pursue their interests, they develop a positive sense of self, build camaraderie, learn to express themselves productively and harness a love of learning.
